The moment I realized a while back that John De Lancie was the voice behind Discord, I knew I had to joke on the fact Q from Star Trek has a similar personality. For those of you who aren't geeky enough to notice this, it's the same actor.

I think this is fab and you should reconsider having it in your Scraps folder. I'd love to see it in a permanent gallery folder! 
I remember being thrilled when John de Lancie first popped up on STNG. I had to forgive him then for leaving the cast of my fav soap at the time, Days of Our Lives, where he played a weird, psychopathic, yet loveable and inventive genius named Eugene Bradford, or Euge, (you-juh), as his also wacky girlfriend, Calliope, called him. Q actually crossed over to two other ST shows, DS9, and Voyager, and John has had so many other roles in film & tv. And did you know the actress that played Calliope, Arleen Sorkin, was the inspiration for the DC comic book illustrator's, (Paul Dini), character of Harley Quinn? Yep, true. Arleen was friends with Paul when he was working on the Animated Batman Series, for which a sidekick was created for the Joker. She also voiced the character until 2011. Now Tara Strong does the voice.
