The head(s) and body were made in Z-Brush. The main scene in Bryce 7.1 Pro. Little touch-ups were done in Corel Painter.
This piece was inspired off a fan fic in the progress of being written and presented here on DeviantART. A story titled "Emerald Submarine". This story is directly spoofing off of the movie "Yellow Submarine". It's a real treat if you're well familiar with not only that movie but are familiar with works of the Jim Henson Company in general. To give an idea to you on this the, 'Electric Mayhem' is the band replacing the Beatles in the story. The bad guys, the Blue Meanies in this have been turned into being the 'Blue Mickeys'. Disney, and I'm one of those Muppet fans that agrees on this. Hasn't done any thing of pleasant consequence to the franchise they bought and proceeded to gut what they didn't like. In chapter one of the story reference is made towards a 101 headed dalmatian. That being the replacement to the three-headed bulldog in the movie. Right after that simple idea was read I wanted to draw it. Which as you can tell I made as a 3D piece. There aren't 101 heads on this beast. Bryce kept freezing up while I was working on it and I needed to restart the program more than once. Bryce couldn't handle all the information I was trying to put into the scene. I started on this last night and couldn't finish it till noon of today.
Here's Emerald Submarine so far for any one interested in reading it:
Yeah, but one day I hope to fully understand how to work with the software. Z-Brush is a powerful modeling program, just picture what I could create once I get the hang of it .
Thanks!
By the way thanks for the faves you have been giving me
